New on DVD

Two musical treats, neither of which I've seen..

Konkombe: The Nigerian Pop Music Scene... an hour in which Fela invites you into his pad to discuss politics and the lyric, plus King Sunny Ade's juju, traditional, Afro-European, etc.

Anita O'Day: The Life of a Jazz Singer.. described by Variety as "a natural for.. DVD distribution" emphasizing her performances while not covering over biographical details, with good sound quality.

the Redskins' depth chart has no one on it.

They need to get players. They should have tryouts.

Looking at stats, it think it's odd that people want to replace Campbell and Eli Manning gets a huge contract. There was a Super Bowl win but that Campbell would win a Super Bowl with that team around him. The D line looks scary too with the additions but who knows what Haynesworth will do. Orakpo will probably get good in a few years.

apparently the Jim Riggleman era of DC baseball has not kept your interest from turning to training camp

PIRI MIRI MULI COVERAGE OF THE NFL SUPPLEMENTAL DRAFT

I think the Skins had nothing to do so they got overexcited using a 3rd for Jarmon who was graded 4th-5th. + they heard the Iggles wanted him. We'll see. This concludes PIRI MIRI MULI COVERAGE OF THE NFL SUPPLEMENTAL DRAFT.
